Why I Bought a DJI Osmo Pocket 3

I’m trying to remove friction from putting these videos out. Concierge WordPress work is what I actually do all day. This isn’t my business, so the process has to be easy.

An iPhone 17 Pro Max is a great camera, but turning it into a real setup means a gimbal, a tripod, pulling it out of a thick case, and a separate mic. That’s a lot of crap between me and getting my reps in.

So I got a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 (Creator Kit). It’s on a gimbal, I can mount it anywhere, and I can just turn it on and go. I’m not pitching the camera. The point is: simplify the process, even if that means the video isn’t Hollywood.

There’s a Pocket 4 now, but it’s a pain to get in the US. This one is fine. And Active Track finally clicked at the end.
